Hello Party Plan 123 Princesses, do we have a treat for you! Today we will be talking about ways to encourage more people to attend your Facebook parties and be excited about it. As a matter of fact, we have prepared 5 steps that everybody should be aware of and put into practice when planning their very own Facebook party. These steps are all about communication and cooperation with your hostess. A quick side note…. these steps work just as well for your facebook parties as they do for your in-home parties. So without further ado, let’s see what these steps are all about.
1. Party Pack
The first step you should worry about is preparing a comprehensive party pack for your host or hostess. Now, some people refer to this as a party packet, but it’s the same thing in essence. What you want to have prepared in this party pack is all the necessary documentation and information that you want your host to be aware of before starting to organize the party and invite people. This includes all sorts of brochures and leaflets, as well as checklists on what you would like your host to pay special attention to. Also, you want to include information on how the hostess rewards work for sales and bookings in this pack, as you want to incentivize them by showing or explaining what is in it for them. You should probably also consider including the income or business brochure for your host, as it oftentimes happens that our hosts for the occasion may become permanent members of our team.
2. Post a Letter or a Confirmation Card in the Mail
Now that we have a party pack ready to be sent to our host, there is just one more thing that should be added to it. It’s the confirmation letter. You can even make it into a combination of a welcome card and a confirmation letter, with the date of your party and all the other necessary information that goes on there. Make sure that those confirmation letters are sent to your party participants, it will make them feel like you are personally invested in every single one of them showing up. People tend to react more positively if they feel like you care about their opinion.
3. Phone Call #1
After we have the first two steps wrapped up and under way, that is after we have sent our host the party pack and the confirmation letter; it’s time for our step number 3, which is contacting our host over the phone. Ideally, we want to make sure to do this after we are certain that our host has received our party pack and that they have it in front of them. We want to make sure to go over the contents of the party pack with our host and make sure that they understand what it is that we are trying to achieve with this Facebook party. Probably the most important aspect of this step that we want to focus on is creating a guest list. Get the host to help us out with this, brainstorm a few names that we absolutely want to see on the guest list and make sure that our host understands which people we want to get through to. Don’t be lazy about this; there have been numerous times when direct sellers have failed to follow this step to write the guest list together, only to lead to regret and less people showing up to the party. Not only does it help our host to completely understand our goal and their job, but it also shows our dedication to making this Facebook party a success.
4. Phone Call #2
As opposed to the first phone call that we did as a part of step 3, our second phone call that makes up our fourth step should be made a few days before the beginning of the party. We need to make sure to have at least 3 to 5 more days when we make this phone call as we will be discussing a sort of a checklist with our host to make sure that everything was covered or is being covered at the time of the speaking. Make sure that the guests are aware that they can share the event with their friends and bring them along as well since it is a Facebook party after all. Also, make sure that you clarify the duration of the party and how the outside orders should be handled. Not every guest will be able to come to the live event, but will nonetheless be interested in our products and we need to make sure that our host understands how to handle them.
In case that our host has no experience with organizing a Facebook party, it might be a good idea to let them join one on their own to let them have a feeling of how things are supposed to work and make them have a better understanding of what we are trying to achieve.
5. Party Arrival
The final step we need to take care of is organizing and attending the party arrival. Now obviously, you want to be there a few minutes early so that you can set up everything, like with an ordinary house party. We want to be sure that we can greet everybody as they come by their name so that we create a bond with our guests from the get go. Another thing that we can do is talk with our host to make sure that they wear or in some other way present the pieces that they are personally interested in. If we are using Facebook Live wearing their wishlist items would be ideal, but a picture of them wearing the items works just as fine. This way, our host will be inspired to talk about the benefits of those items and will be more invested in telling our guests how awesome they are.
This wraps up the 5 steps that all of us can take to improve our Facebook party and make sure that people show up and feel excited by doing so. We must remember to not be lazy, sit down on the phone or in person with our host and make sure that we are on the same page and that they are as excited about the products as much as we are. By doing this, they will be able to transfer this excitement and positive energy to our party guests as well, which will in turn make it a much bigger success.
Love,
Mel 😘
