“IS 1 BOOKING PER PARTY ENOUGH?”
I’ve heard so many direct sales party consultants say “I got 1 booking to replace that booking, so I’m happy with that.” When in actual fact, if we average only 1 booking from each party, we have forgotten to plan for the unavoidable cancellations & our business is going backwards.
So, why are we fooling ourselves into thinking that we will be OK as long as we get one booking from each party? If we allow ourselves to think this way, we are going backwards!
The really easy solution is this….. Every week and every month, take a good look at your business and work out:
- “How many parties did I do this week?”
- “How many parties did I book this week?”
- “Did I book more parties than I held?”
And if you did book more parties than you held, then you are at least maintaining the level of your business where it is now. And depending on how many more bookings you created and how soon you booked them in, you may even be GROWING your business, and that is where you want to be, isn’t it?
It’s simple numbers, and just being aware of what’s really going on in your business.
