Today we are talking about raising our party plan businesses to a whole new level! We are talking about how we can become the best possible we! I’m going to share with you tips on how you can turn your party plan dreams into your business reality.

So, who wants to go from bad to great in their party plan business? And in the shortest time as possible, of course!

The Q.U.I.C.K. Method for Party Plan Success:

Q.U.I.C.K. is an acronym which I’m going to break down for you so that you can remember each step along the way. Once you master each of these points, you’ll be well on your way to become the best you you can possibly be in your party plan business! And the results will follow accordingly. So, let’s get down to business:

  • “Q” – stands for Quitting is NOT an option!

    A lot of times (in fact, most of the time), we – our fears, doubts, lack of confidence, tendency to procrastinate – are our very own stumbling block. It is us who holds us back from our success in whatever it is that we do. So, make a promise to yourself, right here and right now, to keep going forward; to never give up; to NOT allow all those doubts and fears to get in the way of your success; to NOT quit on your party plan business! This is essential.

  • “U” – stands for Understanding our WHY?

    To be able to go from bad to great in our party plan business (or any other line of work, for that matter), we have to understand why we have chosen THIS company, and why we have chosen not to give up. I hope I can use a quote from one of my regular listeners, Erica, who said “If your “WHY” doesn’t make you cry, it’s not big enough!” This is a beautiful thought and it sums it up nicely. It is universally true – for every aspect of life and across all industries. It means that if you connect to your choices on emotional level, you are half-way there to achieving your dreams and goals; you have a vision in your life and that’s crucial in any line of work, especially ours.

    • Ask your self these 2 questions:
      1. WHY did I join my company?
      2. WHY have I decided to stay?  What keeps me here & motivated not to give up?

  • “I” – stands for Inspirational Quotes & People

    Always be guided by a certain inspirational quote that will move you whenever AND wherever you want to go in your business!

    In our direct sales business, a lot of our success or failure all comes down to what’s going on in our mindset. If we believe we can do it, if we take the action and the steps that are necessary, the results will follow through. But, if we are doubting our self, if we have negative thoughts going through our mind, if we’re listening to negative influences around us, if we let procrastination get in the way of taking action, we are fighting an uphill battle.One thing that I find helps me is putting good positive thoughts into our mind through quotes.

    What are some words of wisdom and an inspirational quote that have helped you over the times?

    Plus, surround yourself with positive, successful and inspiring people.  Even if those people are not in your physical world close by, connect with positive people online, through books and in videos and audio trainings who uplift you and keep you on track for your journey to party plan success.

  • “C” – stands for Constant Action.

    Bear in mind that it doesn’t mean that you should focus on just any kind of action. Instead of random actions, focus on TARGETED actions – on the key drivers in your direct sales business. The key drivers are basically things we should focus all our time and energy on. There are 4 pillars of a direct sales business you should always focus on:

  1. Parties – They are the lifeline of our business and we should never neglect to organize enough parties per week! Otherwise, we are letting go of our most important source of income; bookings, sales, recruits.
  2. Hostess coaching – Once we have a party neatly dated in our calendars, we want to get the most out of it. First of all, we want it to definitely go ahead and to meet as many new guests as possible. When translated to the big picture, this means more sales, more bookings and more recruit leads for us. But to achieve this, we need to dedicate time and effort to hostess coaching.
  3. Team building – The best potential for our direct sales business success comes through building our own team. A lot of mutual benefits lie ahead of those who are ready and willing to invest time and effort in recruiting and building their own team. On the one hand, there’s a lot of extra income for you if you become a leader in your company; and on the other hand, it means the same income opportunity for your team members to help them too. So, don’t be afraid to ask a simple team-building question “Have you ever thought of doing what I do? Would you like to learn more about the generous income opportunity if you become member of my team?” to each and every party guest you meet. Otherwise, you would have some success in your business; but never as much as you potentially can.
  4. Promotional events – If you ever find yourself without enough bookings for the week, it’s the perfect time to focus on these.   • “K” – stands for Knowledge and Skill Development.

    We must enthusiastically work towards becoming the best we possible and the success will be there to enjoy. To be able to run our business and constantly move towards our dreams and visions, to turn our goals into reality, we have to become a student who loves to learn! This is true for any line of work in this day and age more than ever, and is essential for becoming the superstar of party planning! After all, practice makes perfect and we should always strive to become better through practice, despite our fears and doubts.

    • My personal promise to myself was to always schedule a minimum of 1 hour per week dedicated to focused learning and training. This may be going through a direct sales course, reading a party plan training book or attending a webinar online.  What can you do this week to develop your skill-set?
