As direct sellers and party planning consultants, we can make great use of all of our favorite social media platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram to increase our party bookings, our sales, and recruits. However, there is a tiny catch—certain activities on these social media platforms can boot us. In other words, we can get banned from Facebook and end up in Facebook jail. Now, I would hate to see that happen to you, which is why I thought it would be a great idea to share 3 big reasons that could land us in Facebook jail, and more importantly, how to avoid this predicament.
Before I get to reason No. 1 however, I want to make mention of a few different levels on which Facebook could ban you; for instance, you could only be banned from posting comments or posting in a particular group or event, and the worst case scenario is getting totally terminated from your social account. So, let’s see how to avoid this.
Number 1: Stop using the same images that every single other direct seller in your company is using.
Let’s say that our company has a beautiful page on Facebook with an amazing image. Now, most of us would be eager to re-post that same image on all of our pages and profiles. It might be your personal profile page, a group that you’re using, or it might even be an event that you’re using for a Facebook party. As tempting as it may be to just simply use that one image that your company provides you and post it over and over and over again, bear in mind that this activity could alert a red flag to Facebook, which could result in jail time for you. To clarify a bit further, if the same image shows up thousands of times on Facebook, the system might filter it as spam.

Number 2: Stop using the same scripts or the same words and phrases that every single other direct seller is using online.
Often times Facebook users ask their friends to re-post certain texts and paste it as a new post onto their profile so that they can spread the message. However, not many people know that if Facebook spots these re-posts, it could put them in jail. So, let’s avoid copying scripts that other people in our teams or our companies have been using.
Number 3: Do not post too many images (over and over again), especially in a short amount of time.
Posting images is fun and effective; images provide visual pleasure and capture the attention of others. However, re-posting too many images in a short amount of time could be seen a red flag. This often happens when one tries to run a Facebook party on a personal profile. As fun as this may sound at first, it is not necessarily the best method to have an online Facebook party, which is why I will be offering a webinar on how to carry that out as a pro (without getting banned). So, to avoid getting red flags, give a wide berth to posting a plethora of images in a short amount of time.
Here’s my Facebook LIVE video where we talk about this in a bit more detail…. ENJOY! xx
Hope you found these tips useful. Cheers to never getting Facebook jail time!
